Testimonial from Giacomo Pascolini, former Production and Marketing Coordinator at the International Centre for Trade and Sustainable Development (ICTSD) :

“I worked with Helene [from Authentic Translations Ltd] for several years and she always delivered amazingly on different projects simultaneously. Whilst her technical skills were outstanding, she would always meet all deadlines (often very tight) and proved to have a great work ethic. I recommend Helene’s services to anyone looking for excellent quality French to English and English to French translations and copy-editing.”

Logo for Report the Abuse

Report the Abuse is the first global NGO to address the issue of sexual violence against humanitarian aid workers. It focuses on ensuring that protection from sexual violence extends comprehensively throughout humanitarian organisations, to international and national staff. In order to collect data on the issue of sexual violence against humanitarian aid workers,

Report the Abuse launched a survey on its website in August 2015, which allowed individuals to report either witnessing or experiencing an incident of sexual violence. Recognising that many individuals would feel more comfortable discussing this sensitive topic in their native language, Report the Abuse contacted Authentic Translations Ltd to provide a French version of the survey.

The French version was made available to respondents in autumn 2015 and has provided the space for native French speakers to talk about sexual violence in a way that was not previously available.

Testimonial from Megan Nobert, Founder and Project Director at Report the Abuse :

“Helene, from Authentic Translations Ltd, is not only an effective and efficient translator, but she cares deeply about the projects she works on. I was a client of hers for a sensitive translation that she handled with care and compassion. I felt that not only were we getting an excellent translation but that our work was important to her. I cannot recommend her highly enough.”
